PLACEHOLDER TEXT. This is not a distance sales agreement and it has not been reviewed by a lawyer. The clauses below have the shape of a distance sales agreement so the checkout and the acceptance records can be used end to end. Each clause is a prompt for the legal department. Replace this text before relying on it.
1. The seller
PLACEHOLDER. Legal name, registered address, trade registry number, telephone number and e-mail address of the seller. If the seller acts as an intermediary for a supplier, say so here.
2. The buyer and the travellers
PLACEHOLDER. Describe who the buyer is and state that the buyer is responsible for the accuracy of every traveller name and document detail entered.
3. What is being sold and what it costs
PLACEHOLDER. State that the services, dates, travellers and the total price are those shown on the order summary the buyer approved, and that the total price includes taxes and any fees shown at that moment.
4. Payment
PLACEHOLDER. Describe the accepted means of payment, when the amount is taken, and what happens if payment fails after the order is placed.
5. Performance
PLACEHOLDER. State when the booking becomes binding, how the confirmation and travel documents are delivered, and what the buyer should do if a document does not arrive.
6. Right of withdrawal
PLACEHOLDER. This clause needs the legal department. Accommodation, transport and leisure services supplied for a specific date are commonly outside the general right of withdrawal, and this must be stated precisely rather than approximately.
7. Cancellation, change and refunds
PLACEHOLDER. Describe the cancellation deadlines and charges, how a change is requested, and how long a refund takes. Where a supplier policy applies, say that the policy shown at the time of booking is the one that governs.
8. Complaints and jurisdiction
PLACEHOLDER. Give the address for complaints, the governing law and the competent courts or consumer arbitration bodies.
